NO ONE IS AN ISLAND: Improving access and removing barriers to psychosocial oncology
This conference will bring together professionals from multiple health care disciplines to explore, share, learn and discuss the psychosocial aspects of cancer. Participants include researchers, clinicians, educators from cancer centres and other medical centres, and community-based organizations representing disciplines that include nursing, psychology, psychiatry, social work, spiritual care, nutrition, medicine, rehabilitation medicine, occupational health and radiation therapy for both adult and pediatric populations. Along with these professionals, the conference will also bring opportunities for a stronger patient voice.
It is more apparent now than ever that our conference theme "No One is an Island" and the need for connection is a part of the foundation of psychosocial oncology.
The CAPO 2020 conference will run from July 14-16, a hybrid of both LIVE and PRE-RECORDED content. We are striving to provide an interactive experience for all delegates.
Pre-conference workshops will also be offered on July 13 in separate timeslots throughout the day, allowing delegates the option to attend multiple sessions if they wish, something we are not able to offer with our regular in-person conferences.
Presentations will be available as follows:
All fees are NOT subject to tax - CAPO is a charity and does not charge tax.
