How do I get more Information?

The trained professionals who provide a range of services to people with cancer are often located in the Psychosocial Oncology, Supportive Care, Counselling Services, Social Work, or Psychology departments of cancer centres, hospitals and clinics. You or your family can self refer by calling the cancer centre, hospital, or clinic directly, or you can ask one of your health care team to refer you. If you are unable to go to a cancer centre, counselling is often available over the telephone, or in some rural areas through a technology called Tele Health or mental health programs. Talk to your physician or nurse about your concerns. They can help connect you to these and other support services.
