CAPO 2011 Awards
Life Time Achievement Award
This annual award honours a CAPO/ACOP member who, in the opinion of the Awards Committee and the Board of Directors of the association, has made exceptional and enduring career contributions to Psychosocial Oncology. Prior to 2010, this award was called the CAPO Award of Excellence.
2011 Recipient: Dr. Mary Jane Esplen
CAPO Award for Clinical Excellence
This recognizes an individual who, in the opinion of the Awards Committee and the Board of Directors of the association, has made outstanding clinical contributions to the field of psychosocial oncology in Canada.
2011 Recipient: Dr. Maru Barrera
CAPO Award of Education Excellence
This recognizes an individual who, in the opinion of the Awards Committee and the Board of Directors of the association, has made outstanding contributions to the field education and training in psychosocial oncology in Canada.

2011 Recipient: Dr. Deborah McLeod
CAPO Award for Research Excellence
This recognizes an individual who, in the opinion of the Awards Committee and the Board of Directors of the association, has made a significant research contribution to psychosocial oncology.
